WHEN DO MY THOUGHTS BECOME NORMAL?

Before we begin answering this question, let’s start by differentiating what’s normal and what’s not a normal thought pattern? Normal thought pattern is when you think of yourself as highly as you ought to be – not to think of yourself more highly than you ought to be, to have the right outlook about yourself, and about who you are and others. When you think of yourself as someone highly, better than everyone else, or when your thoughts are filled with negativity, fear, excessive worry and low self-esteem – this kind of thought pattern is abnormal. To recognize the kind of thought you entertain in your mind is the first step to freedom, for your mind to think clearly it has to come to a place of stillness.

Sometimes when we can’t think clearly, we automatically assume that there is something wrong with our minds or thought patterns. That is not always the case. One of the reasons for such foggy thinking could be not having enough sleep for a long period of time, now not only you are tired but also you can’t think clearly or perform simple tasks – I am guilty of this. Allowing our minds and body to rest at least 6-8 hours of sleep a day causes us to rejuvenate. The same way of letting our minds to think beyond their capacity results in stress and anxiety. Lack of vitamins in general and vitamin B specifically helps us to think clearly. Or it could be because we allow our minds to think such thoughts for the longest taking the front seat and we get used to it as being normal. Well, it is not normal! Don’t let your thoughts take the front seat of your life especially those abnormal thoughts.

Often a person filled with wonder and daydreaming cannot think normal and be in the present. He always wonders about his life, his circumstances, about other people what he could have done to accomplish his life goals and dreams. He daydreams all day that he has forgotten to live in the present and do something. Instead, he compares himself to other people’s success forgetting he himself can also do it – if he wakes up from his wondering daydreaming thoughts. The abnormal way of thinking is you waste your time comparing to someone else accomplishment. Instead, when you put your energy, right mind to work, go to school, start a business, or whatever that is in your heart and you do it! That is my friend called being effective in your thought pattern and make it work! Remember when discouragement, abnormal thinking tries to overtake you, examine your thought life!
